JNCT Professional University Attended State-Level Workshop on NAQUIM, organized by Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Jal Shakti
Dr. Gayatridevi Athaya (AP, JNCS) and students from Jai Narain College of Science, JNCT Professional University, attended a State-Level Workshop on National Aquifer Mapping and Management Plan (NAQUIM) organized by the Central Ground Water Board under the Ministry of Jal Shakti at the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management, Bhopal on 23rd March, 2026.
In his keynote address, A.K. Biswal highlighted the importance of groundwater conservation and scientific aquifer mapping. Experts Chittaranjan Biswal and Rakesh Singh shared key findings and success stories from Madhya Pradesh, while Lata Udsaiya and Adiba Khan discussed the current groundwater status in the state.
An interactive session on “Water Security through Ground Water Management” encouraged active participation and idea exchange. The workshop provided valuable insights, enhanced awareness, and motivated participants towards sustainable water use
