Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of JNCT Professional University, Bhopal has been constituted in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions.

The ICC is committed to creating and maintaining a safe, dignified, and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff. It serves as the primary body to prevent and address issues related to sexual harassment and to promote gender equality and sensitivity on campus.

Objectives:

• To prevent discrimination and sexual harassment by promoting gender amity among staff and students.
• To receive and redress complaints of sexual harassment as per prescribed procedures.
• To ensure a fair, impartial, and confidential inquiry process.
• To organize awareness and sensitization programs on gender equality, respect, and workplace ethics.

Composition of Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

Functions of ICC:

1. To take cognizance of complaints regarding sexual harassment.
2. To conduct inquiries and recommend appropriate action based on findings.
3. To ensure protection and confidentiality for complainants.
4. To organize gender sensitization and awareness programs.
5. To uphold the principles of equality, dignity, and respect for all members of the institution.

The ICC ensures that all complaints are handled with confidentiality, sensitivity, and fairness, in accordance with the law and institutional policies.
