Jai Narayan College of Nursing, JNCT Professional University (JNCTPU), Bhopal, observed *Day 4 of World Breastfeeding Week 2026* through an *Anganwadi Visit and Health Check-up Programme* under the theme:

*”Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works.”*

B.Sc. Nursing students actively participated in the community outreach programme by conducting health check-ups, providing health education to mothers, and creating awareness about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding, maternal nutrition, and infant care.

The programme aimed to strengthen community awareness, promote healthy breastfeeding practices, and encourage mothers to provide the best possible start in life for their children.

World Breastfeeding Week 2026 – Day 5 Celebration

Jai Narayan College of Nursing, JNCT Professional University (JNCTPU), Bhopal, observed Day 5 of World Breastfeeding Week 2026 by organizing an Awareness Rally under the theme:

“Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works.”

Faculty members and B.Sc. Nursing students enthusiastically participated in the rally to spread awareness about the importance of breastfeeding among the community. Through informative placards, slogans, and public interaction, the participants emphasized the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, timely initiation of breastfeeding, maternal nutrition, and optimal infant and young child feeding practices.

The rally aimed to educate families and the general public about the vital role of breastfeeding in ensuring the healthy growth and development of infants while contributing to a healthier and more sustainable future.
