Workshop on “Molecular Tools and Techniques”

The Department of Biotechnology, JNCT Professional University, Bhopal, successfully organized a workshop on “Molecular Tools and Techniques” from 21–29 September 2026 for B.Sc. Biotechnology students. A total of 66 students benefited from this programme.

The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Nidhi Tripathi, Principal, JNCS, with Dr. Abhishek Gupta, CMBT, serving as the Expert/Resource Person. Students received practical exposure to microbiological culture techniques, genomic DNA isolation, PCR amplification, and agarose gel electrophoresis.

The programme was conducted with the support and encouragement of Dr. Govind Bhargava, Vice Chancellor; Dr. Mohit Pandya, Registrar; and Dr. Meetoo Singh, Dean Academics, JNCT Professional University.

The successful organization of the workshop was supported by Dr. Omshri Singh, Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Dr. Gayatri Athaya, Ms. Harshita Verma, Ms. Anshika Rajput, Ms. Prachi Yadav, and Ms. Mitali Sahu.

Through demonstrations and hands-on learning, the workshop enhanced students’ practical skills, technical knowledge, laboratory competency, and research orientation, preparing them for advanced learning and research in biotechnology.
